Curtainwall resists hurricanes

C.R. Laurence Co. Inc.’s (CRL-U.S. Aluminum) StormWall XL hurricane-resistant curtainwall is 2 1/2 inches by 7 1/2 inches, is glazed with 1 5/16-inch insulating laminated glass and has a continuous thermal spacer interlocked within the horizontal and vertical pressure bars. Performance features include large-and small-missile impact and cycling, design pressures to +100/-100 pounds per square foot (PSF), 15 PSF static water resistance and dry or wet glazed.
