Deflection track works in roofs, walls

ClarkDietrich Building Systems’ BlazeFrame RipTRAK is a fire-rated, head-of-wall deflection track for roofs and walls. It is available in one- and two-hour rated systems. The track has an offset shoulder that represents the thickness of wall material. A second piece of board is fit flush to a fluted deck or slab and attached to the shoulder, which allows the deck and track to move in relation to studs.
