Doors and windows products were featured in Metal Construction News’ January 2023 issue.
YKK AP America Inc.’s YUW 750 XT unitized curtainwall systems have versatile framing. Systems can be four-side captured with a 2 1/2-inch sightline and 7 1/2-inch depth, two-side structural silicone glazed (horizontal/vertical) and four-side structural silicone glazed. Complete units are shipped to job sites for installation and dry-in. The system is designed to be assembled and glazed in climate-controlled environments for quality assurance of critical seals. Perimeter seals are the only exterior field applied sealant. YUW 750 XT unitized curtainwalls have thermal barriers and resist condensation. They have three-way adjustable curtainwall anchors, and silicone setting blocks and stack gaskets.

PDL Building Products’ 3070 preassembled metal building walkthrough doors are prepped for specific applications to minimize installation time. Clopay Corp.’s VertiStack clear commercial overhead doors maximize ceiling space by stacking. Doors are customizable to fit openings to 14 feet square. Panel options include glass, acrylic and polycarbonate. They can be tempered, frosted, insulated, and with low-E glass. Thicknesses range from 1/8-inch to 5/8-inch. Doors also come in Cornell and Cookson brands.

Linetec’s Bordeaux anodized finish for architectural aluminum products can be used on windows, storefronts, curtainwall framing, doors and more. The finish’s Declare Label lists a life expectancy of 40 years.

Tubelite Inc.’s 950SG Series Therml=Block window wall is a four-side, structural sealant glazed (SSG) window wall for between-slab horizontal spans. It has a dual-strut thermal barrier and vertical, extruded silicone gasket.
