Two aluminum and glass garage doors shown side by side on a restaurant exterior, with one door’s glass panels clear and the other switched to opaque for privacy.[1]

Clopay Corp.[2], a manufacturer of residential and commercial garage doors, introduced C-Power-enabled Click-to-Conceal panels for its aluminum and glass Avante and Avante Sleek doors, as well as commercial models 904 and 906.

C-Power delivers power directly to the garage door sections, enabling the glass panels to switch from clear to opaque using a wireless remote. This allows users to adapt their garage door according to preference: daylight and outdoor views, or greater privacy and security.

When the glass is clear, it lets in daylight, reducing the need for artificial lighting indoors. When opaque, the glass panels block UV rays, help regulate indoor temperatures, and protect interiors from fading.

The panels are housed in a durable, weather-resistant 2-1/8-in. thick aluminum frame with a fully integrated power system. The wiring is concealed within the door sections for a clean appearance and simple installation.
