Drill bits decrease heat, increase speed

Milwaukee Tool’s Red Helix Cobalt Drill Bits for hard metal applications feature a variable helix with a 35-degree helix angle that varies along the flute, ending at 15 degrees to limit heat buildup. Additionally, the drill bits have a 135 degree, split point, Quad Edge Tip that decreases heat buildup and enables fast drilling. An Enhanced Tapered Web strengthens the bits’ cores to increase overall flute durability.
