Fabricated glazing increases thermal resistance

Laminators Inc.’s Thermolite glazing panel is available flat, and with fabricated options. The fabricated options provide additional R-value, custom reveal between the panel face and mullion face (Thermolite SE), and wrapped edges to create hairline joints between panels in butt-glazed applications. Thermolite U-Max is a 7-ply, rabbet-edge panel with more insulation on the interior face, and can be as thick as 3 1/2 inches. Thermolite WE edge treatment allows for a metal-to-metal bond when structural sealant is used in butt-glazed applications to create hairline joints.
