Big Ass Fans’ Powerfoil D is an 8- to 24-foot diameter high volume, low speed (HVLS) fan with a direct drive and neodymium magnet motor. Safety features include two galvanized steel safety cables, steel retainers and Airfoil Restraint System for hub and airfoil security, a built-in accelerometer for automatic shutdown upon impact and fire suppression system integration for automated safety.

Go Fan Yourself’s Z-Tech high volume, low speed (HVLS) fan has five extruded anodized aluminum blades, ABS plastic leading edges and end-caps with ultraviolet (UV) inhibitors. It features a Dodge Quantis Z-Tech Drive, powder-coated steel frame and cast aluminum hub. The Z-Tech fan is controlled by a variable frequency drive, and a safety system utilizes four 16,000-pound straps that secure it to a ceiling.

MacroAir’s X Series high volume, low speed (HVLS) fan is an 8- to 24-foot in diameter ceiling fan with aluminum blades. It is suitable for spaces 4,000 to 22,000 square feet. MacroAir’s X Series HVLS fan has a direct drive motor/controller platform and airfoil system for balanced airflow and maximum efficiency. Rite-Hite’s high volume, low speed (HVLS) Fan Commander 2.0 control station features a 7-inch color touchscreen that can be connected to a building management system. It coordinates operation of as many as 24 fans. Fan Commander 2.0 is operable via mobile devices and computers. It works with Rite-Hite’s Revolution, Revolution 150 Series, Revolution 75 Series and Revolution 25 Series fans, and Rogue brand fans.
