Insulating glass has vacuum

Guardian VIG LLC’s Guardian Vacuum IG insulating glass unit has a vacuum between two panes of tempered glass that prevents heat from escaping to the outside. It provides thermal insulation with an R-value to R-12 for 8-mm thickness. By pairing Guardian Vacuum IG with Guardian SunGuard coated glass, a hybrid, low-E vacuum insulated glass product delivers light transmission, reflectivity and color.
