Metal roofing featured in Metal Construction News’ January 2021 issue.

AEP Span offers aluminum 16-inch Span-Lok hp (high performance) metal roofing panels that can be used for projects in coastal or other corrosive environments with minimum slopes of 1/2:12. The panels can also be used in vertical wall applications. They are produced in 0.04-inch-thick aluminum; panel lengths are 6 feet to 40 feet.

Firestone Building Products UC-14 Roofing Panel is an architectural standing seam metal roof panel with a 1 3/4-inch-tall, continuous interlocking seam that snaps together. It is able to accommodate long panels and thermal expansion. The system uses a concealed clip fastening system for added protection.

McElroy Metal’s Maxima standing seam is available in three profiles: Maxima, Maxima 1.5 and Maxima ADV. All Maxima panels are mechanically seamed and offered striated or with a flat pan, except the Maxima 3-inch-high panel, which is available striated or with minor ribs. Maxima 1.5 and Maxima ADV can be curved.

Petersen Aluminum’s PAC-150 roof panel has a 1 1/2-inch seam height, which requires mechanical field seaming to either 90 degrees or 180 degrees, depending on uplift requirements. Panels have a concealed fastener clips to allow for design flexibility. The PAC-150 panel combines a thin-rib profile with structural performance. An optional sealant bead can be applied for added weather resistance.
