Formtek Group offers the B&K Supermill roll forming machine for manufacturing structural and drywall stud and track products. It has rotary punch and shear technology that eliminates the need for flying dies, and integrates punching, cutting and roll forming functions. The B&K Supermill has a short horizontal center distance that enables it to produce light-gauge drywall to heavy-gauge structural stud, track and floor joists in a precut method.

Metalforming offers the Schechtl MAF short folder, which maximizes free space in front of the folding beam to allow many shapes, sizes and complex profiles to be produced. Dual drive folding beam motors provide maximum speed. Existing profiles can be reproduced, and the Schechtl MAF short folder can network to offices.

Red Bud Industries Inc.

Red Bud Industries’ Light-gauge Slitting Lines for metal building panel producers feature comprehensive guarding with strategically located interlocked gates. The slitting lines have a floor-mount design, and are pre-piped and prewired for quick installation and startup. The un-coiler includes graduations on its shoes to help center new coil. The Light-gauge Slitting Lines have a PVC applicator and hands-free strip threading system. Three types of slitting heads are available: slide-and-lock slitting head (standard), CNC semi-automatic (optional), and traditional packed arbor slitting head (optional).

Van Mark Products Corp.

Van Mark’s model IM1065 bending brake for metal roofing and post framing bends 29-, 26- and 24-gauge painted steel (grade D). Castings have a full 20-inch throat depth for sheets of metal. There is a reinforced PowerLock top lock bar for bending and hemming. The portable bending brake comes with MasterStand, which installs and removes quickly, and can be stored. A low-profile bending platform provides stability and increases bending capacity. The model IM1065 bending brake is available in five lengths: 6 feet 6 inches, 8 feet 6 inches, 10 feet 6 inches, 12 feet 6 inches, and 14 feet 6 inches. It accommodates Van Mark’s TrimCutter and other accessories.
