Low-slope roofing manufacturer MuleHide[1] has expanded its edge metal product line for use with single-ply, modified bitumen, built-up roofing (BUR), and metal roofing systems.

Nailer-T replaces nailers at the roof perimeter, increasing the roof’s structural integrity and protecting the entire roofing system from damage or blow-off. Made of heavy-gauge extruded aluminum, Nailer-T can be attached to existing wood nailers, masonry or metal roof decks. It comes in a variety of standard sizes to accommodate different substrates and insulation requirements. Further, insulation can be extended to the roof edge, increasing the R-value there by up to 47%.

Mulehide’s new extruded fascia products securely terminate TPO, EPDM, PVC, modified bitumen, and BUR systems, providing enhanced wind protection while enhancing the building’s aesthetics. Eight products are available, each in a variety of sizes and cover materials, to meet virtually any low-slope roof’s needs.
