Polymer matrix forms insulation

ACH Foam Technologies Inc.’s Foam-Control MAX graphite polystyrene (GPS) insulation is comprised of many small pockets of air within a polymer matrix containing graphite. It works with metal, wood, steel and masonry. The graphite reflects radiant heat energy like a mirror, increasing the material’s resistance to heat flow. Foam-Control MAX achieves an R-5 at 1 1/16 inches. Building envelope vertical applications include cavity walls, wall sheathing, crawl space insulation and more.
