AceClamp

AceClamp’s Snow Titan snow retention rail system has a non-penetrating, sliding-pin clamp design that does not damage panels and maintains the roof’s warranty. The Snow Titan has triangular rails, ice flags that snap into place and clamping claws.

Alpine SnowGuards

Alpine’s PP145 two- or three-pipe snow guard for metal roofing has four countersinks on the underside of its base. When paired with the included EPDM bushings, they form watertight compression seals. The bracket measures slightly less than 6 inches tall and is compatible with ice flags. The snow guards come in an aluminum mill finish and can be powder-coated to match roofing material. An AutoDesk REVIT BIM model is available.

Design Components Inc.

Design Components’ Metalwalk rooftop walkway system is produced standard in galvanized steel; Galvalume steel and aluminum are optional. It is installed on standing seam roof systems with S-5!’s non-penetrating clamps. Metalwalk can also be installed on R-panel roofs; an optional 4-inch-high toe board is available. It has nonslip walkway grating, and an OSHA- and IBC-compliant handrail system. Modular components create different widths and configurations, and integrate with hatches, self-closing swing gates and fixed ladders.

Dynamic Fastener

Dynamic Fastener offers two metal roof terminating point flashings: Dyna-Cap and Dyna-Cap AG (agricultural). The flashing bases can be used for terminating points of sheeting or roofing material. Dyna-Cap flashing fits many trapezoidal metal roof panels; it has a 3 1/4-inch overall height, 4 1/4-inch inner depth and 7 1/4-inch base width. Dyna-Cap AG flashing fits many agricultural metal roof panels; it has a 3/4-inch overall height, 2-inch inner depth and 3-inch base width.

The Garland Co. Inc.

Garland’s R-Mer Force is a flash-less metal edge system and is installed without flashing plies. R-Mer Force is anchored to exterior walls with aluminum anchors; there are no penetrations in the roof surface. Fascia cover pieces snap onto installed anchors, completing the installation. Thermo-plastic elastomer compression seals also contribute to the finish of R-Mer Force.

Kee Safety Inc.

Kee Safety’s Kee Walk with Guardrail is an OSHA-compliant rooftop walkway system with integrated safety railing. It is designed to provide a secure, anti-slip walking surface on all roof types including metal profiles and standing seam roofs. It accommodates steps, traverses and sloped roofs with pitches to 35 degrees. The Kee Walk with Guardrail is available with aluminum or nylon modules with anti-slip treads. The modules are supplied in 5-foot and 10-foot preassembled sections, do not require on-site fabrication and do not penetrate roofs. Kee Klamp fittings can be set as either a single- or dual-sided handrail system.

Rocky Mountain Snow Guards Inc.

Rocky Mountain’s Blizzard III+ brackets snow retention system has three-pipe brackets made with two of S-5!’s clamps. Each clamp has two bullet nose set screws for non-scarring attachment to standing seam roof systems. The system utilizes 1-inch aluminum tubing and its bottom pipe is 1/8-inch above the top of seams, providing strength.

S-5!

S-5!’s ColorGard and VersaBracket 47 snow guard system is for trapezoidal rib exposed-fastened metal roofs. The aluminum system comes in 8-foot-long sections. VersaBracket 47 is mounted in the flat of a panel, directly into a supporting structure of a roof (wood decking, wood or steel purlins, or trusses).

Stand-Guard Snow Guard LLC

Stand-Guard Snow Guard’s Stand-Guards are fastened with punch and stainless bolts to S-5!’s fasteners. Where fastened, Stand-Guards hold approximately 300 pounds per seam. The snow guards are powder-coated in a variety of colors.

Viking Products Group Inc.

Viking’s GreenWeld flashing system has aluminum reinforcement for strength and modified polyvinyl coating for flexibility. It can seal rooftop drains, pipes and internal gutters. For installation, GreenWeld can be fastened to itself or a substrate with heat welding or GreenWeld Adhesive/Sealant. The flashing is available in a 19 1/2-foot roll in three widths: 10-, 20- and 39-inch.
