GCP Applied Technologies Inc.’s Tri-Flex XT synthetic roofing underlayment is designed to be mechanically attached and can be used under shingles, tiles, slate, metal and cedar shakes. It features slip-resistant coating that provides a safe walking surface and may be used instead of 30-pound felt. Additionally, GCP Applied Technologies offers Tri-Flex 15 synthetic underlayment, which has a 60-day exposure limit and may be used instead of 15-pound felt.
