BILCO’s Fall Protection Grating System for floor access doors features pintle hinges that open the grating panels to a 90-degree position to maximize access area. The grating is available in standard sizes and can be factory installed on BILCO Type J, JD, J-AL, J-DAL 300 PSF and H-20 reinforced floor access doors. Special sizes are also offered.

Dynamic Fastener’s Safe-T Ladder Extension System attaches to standard extension ladders and provides access to rooftops. Once installed, it has two offsetting handrails that offer a point of walkthrough to step on or off the ladder. It allows workers to comply with OSHA standard 1926.1053(b), which requires ladder side rails to extend at least 3 feet above upper landing surfaces.

Kee Safety Inc.’s Crossover Safe Access Platforms enable workers to traverse changes in rooftop levels and step over piping, HVAC equipment and other obstructions. They have Kee Walk anti-slip modular walkway and platform systems with handrails, steps and platform floors with nylon treads, checker plate or steel grating. Base feet can be roof mounted, have fixed feet or a combination of both. Safety railings are aluminum or galvanized steel.

Pure Safety Group’s Checkmate brand 30-foot FABX1 self-retracting lifeline (SRL) has two independently operating brake pawls and a load-indicating aluminum snap hook. Options include: three lifeline materials, lengths from 30 feet to 130 feet, leading-edge blocks, recovery blocks and various carrying handles/shoulder straps.

Werner’s Blue Armor H132102 Construction Harness with three D-rings has relief handles to achieve a gravity override position and help reduce the potential hazards of suspension trauma. It also features WebAlert inspectable webbing and impact indicators, five-point fitting adjustments, lightweight hardware and pads, and bright colors. The rear dorsal D-ring is made from forged alloy steel and it has a hip D-ring for positioning applications.
