Screws attach panels over rigid insulation

Triangle Fastener Corp. added screws with zinc cap heads to its line of BLAZER Drill Screws. The fastener line is also available with stainless steel cap heads; both head types are corrosion resistant. Additionally, 4-inch-long screws with zinc and stainless steel cap heads were added to the line. Other lengths are 1 7/8 inches, 2 3/8 inches and 3 1/4 inches. The new fasteners attach metal panels over rigid insulation. To improve drilling and tapping, and eliminate jacking of panels during installation, the screws have two different threads with an unthreaded gap in between. To form a tight seal, they have 1/4-14 high thread under the heads to tightly secure metal panels against the heads.
