Spandrel pans feature mineral wool

Southern Aluminum Finishing Co. Inc.’s Insul M5000 Insulated Spandrel Pans have mineral wool that can withstand temperatures above 2,000 F. The mineral wool insulation is secured in the pans by resistance-welded pins and attached to a building’s cladding framework using standard mechanical fasteners. Insul M5000 Insulated Spandrel Pans are factory fabricated with galvanized steel and can be custom fabricated to fit openings of various shapes and depths.
