Storefront functions as thermal barrier

CRL-U.S. Aluminum’s ArcticFront Series 45X Storefront center-glazed system features dual polyurethane thermal break points that function as a thermal barrier. It has a 2-inch by 4 1/2-inch thermal frame, screw spline or shear-block assembly and sill receptors that do not require additional anchoring of the sill member. ArcticFront Series 45X Storefront can produce U-factors from 0.37 with 1-inch low-E insulating glass to 0.19 with specifically configured insulated glass units.
