Thermal barrier blanket approved for spray foam insulation

Fi-Foil Co. Inc.’s Thermal Barrier Blanket (TBB) system offers an aesthetic upgrade over intumescent and thermal barrier spray-on thermal barrier coatings. The TBB system was approved for installation specifically over Icynene Classic and Icynene Classic Max spray foam insulation, and is installed with a clip and pin component. It absorbs 40 percent of sound when installed over 5 1/2 inches of Icynene Classic or Icynene Classic Max and can provide additional R-value from TBB insulation, enclosed, reflective air spaces and low-emittance air films.
