Underlayments create secondary water barriers

DuPont Building Innovations’ Tyvek Protec roof underlayments are used as secondary water barriers on steep-sloped roofs (2:12 or higher) under asphalt shingle, tile, metal, cedar or slate. Tyvek Protec underlayments include Tyvek Protec 120, Tyvek Protec 160 and Tyvek Protec 200, each with increasing durability, strength, warranty protection and UV resistance.
