Rainscreen features interlocking edges

CEI Materials LLC’s modular CLADLOK pressure equalized rainscreen system has cassette-style plate panels with interlocking edges formed from one piece of metal. Flat, tapered and dimensional profiles are available. Regarding flashing and waterproofing preparation, the drainage plane is behind the panel system. Aluminum panels are 9 inches to 51 inches wide, and 12 inches to 98 inches long. System depth is 1 3/4 inches to 4 inches. Zinc, copper and stainless steel options are offered.

Ribbed panels can be combined

AEP Span, a division of ASC Profiles LLC, offers the Perception Collection of five concealed fastener, 22-gauge metal wall panels with 12-inch coverage, a variety of ribs and Kynar coatings. Profiles can be mixed, and standard panel length is 25 feet. A clip installation method allows thermal movement.

Spray foam insulates thermal bridge

Huntsman Building Solutions’ D-Max wall application method uses Heatlok Soya HFO closed-cell spray foam insulation (ccSPF). Where the wall is composed of regular steel studs, Z-bar is installed horizontally on studs and sheathing is installed on top of it, making space between the studs and sheathing for ccSPF.

Coatings create mica, metallic looks

PPG Industries Inc.’s CORAFLON Platinum fluoroethylene vinyl ether (FEVE) fluoropolymer powder coatings are for architectural extrusions and sheet aluminum. They can be produced for mica and metallic appearances with similar effects of liquid coatings. They look like anodized aluminum when specified in a matte (low-gloss) finish.

Modular panels meet regulations

CENTRIA’s Intercept Entyre concealed fastener, modular wall panels are compliant with regulations for air, water, structural, High-Velocity Hurricane Zone (HVHZ) and AAMA 508. They also have a Living Future Declare Label.

Columbia Architectural Products Inc.’s aluminum and stainless steel Corner Guards are offered in standard and custom lengths in 1/16-inch increments. Options include holes, two-sided tape, 3/8-inch wings, and 90- or 135-degree angles.

Fins accent IMPs

Kingspan Insulated Panels Inc.’s Accent Fins for Kingspan KS Series and Optimo insulated metal panels (IMPs) come in six shapes: A-frame, blade, flat box, mini-blade, rectangle and triangle. Lengths go to 12 feet.

Spandrel glass panel combines functions

While spandrel glazing requires back-pans/insulation to meet thermal/fire requirements, Mapes Panels LLC’s MapeSpan insulated spandrel glass panel combines functions of glazing, insulation and back-pans in a glazing unit without modifications to framing.

IMPs meet sanitation requirements

Metl-Span’s FRP CleanSeam insulated metal panels (IMPs) resist mold, mildew and rot. They have a Class 1, zero ozone depleting foam core. Wall and partition panels join seamlessly with a two-part caulk system.
