Curtainwalls meet performance criteria

Tubelite Inc.’s 400CW Series curtainwall is available shop-fabricated. The curtainwall is an aluminum-framed, field-glazed, shear-block construction system. It has an exterior screw-applied pressure bar to secure glass. An outside glazed pressure-plate system comes in captured and structural glazed configurations. Thermal pressure plates are also offered. Standard 6-, 7 1/2- and 10-inch-deep systems have 2 1/2-inch sightlines and 1-inch standard infills. Back members vary in depth from 3 3/8 to 8 inches. Snap-on covers, in a range of colors, allow for different finishes on interior and exterior exposed surfaces. Silicone glazed verticals are available to create seamless appearances.

Panels connect with tongue-and-grooves

To install Pure + FreeForm’s tongue-and-groove siding panel system with joints where one length of panel meets another, color matched splice plates or end-folds on panels are available to provide smooth appearances. The 1-mm-thick, single-skin aluminum panels are installed via the tongue-and-groove soffit and siding method by hard fastening through the legs of the material, concealing fasteners.

Panels have round corrugations

Coated Metals Group’s (CMG) Ultra-Corrugated metal panels have 2.67-inch on-center rib spacing, a 7/8-inch rib height, 39-inch panel width and 37-inch wall panel coverage width. The 7/8-inch corrugated, exposed fastener panels can be installed vertically or horizontally on walls; they can also be used on roofs. Materials include pre-finished steel, A606 and Galvalume in 22- and 26-gauge thicknesses.

Plate panels create reveals

ATAS International Inc.’s Omawall PL aluminum plate wall panels are installed in a stacked or staggered, horizontal or vertical orientation with a dry joint design that has metal splines to create reveal appearances.

Finishes have earth tones

Linetec offers 70% PVDF resin-based coating terra cotta texture finishes for aluminum come in 17 standard colors. Aluminum sizes are from 28 feet, 6 inches long by 6 feet high by 2 feet, 4 inches wide.
