HDR Inc. designed the Brendan Iribe Center for Computer Science and Engineering at University of Maryland with an array of projected glass fins, horizontal bands of solar shading and vertical fins that project 6 feet outwards.

The six-story, 215,000-square-foot building is used by tech companies, government agencies and student researchers in the fields of advanced computer science, augmented and virtual reality, artificial intelligence and robotics.

TSI Corporations installed Erie Architectural Products Inc.’s AP ENVIRO|FACADES unitized curtainwall. Framing has two-coat, 70% Kynar exterior finishes and, for interior finishes, one-coat acrylic paint.
