As part of JCJ Architecture’s design for Choctaw Casino and Resort, the firm specified aluminum, oblong-shaped column covers, rectangular column covers and elevator tower cladding. There are six oblong columns in the lobby and four rectangular columns. The elevator tower also has aluminum panels.
Glenn Rieder LLC installed Moz Designs’ custom oblong-shaped column covers in a woodgrain finish with engraved reveals. The 3/16-inch-thick aluminum column covers are 4 feet, 11 inches by 3 feet, 10 inches. Heights vary to 23 feet tall. The column covers are finished in Skinz’ Wenge Wood.
Glenn Rieder also installed Moz’s 0.09-inch-thick aluminum rectangular column covers with engraved, horizontal reveals. The rectangular columns are 4 feet, 6 inches by 3 feet, 2 inches. They are finished in Gradients Supernova Coarse Durafilm.
On the elevator tower, Glenn Rieder installed Moz’s 0.09-inch-thick aluminum key-slot panels in custom blue powder coat. At reveals, Glenn Rieder installed Moz’s 1/4-inch-thick aluminum brackets and trim in a clear finish.
