City Center hotels, Lexington, Ky.

The exteriors of City Center hotels have a modern, sleek look that is created, in part, with smooth metal wall panels and column covers. The two hotels, Lexington Marriott City Center and Residence Inn Lexington City Center, are part of the City Center mixed-use development, which also has a mixed-use building, retail spaces and an underground parking garage.

The two hotels are a total of 37,000 square feet. Lexington Marriott City Center has 12 floors and Residence Inn Lexington City Center has eight floors.

For the exterior walls and soffits, Kalkreuth Roofing and Sheet Metal Inc. installed 15,500 square feet of CENTRIA Intercept Entyre 0.06-inch-thick aluminum plate panels. Panels on Lexington Marriott City Center have a two-coat mica Silversmith coating. Panels on Residence Inn Lexington City Center have a two-coat mica Mineral Brown coating.

For the column covers at lower levels and an eyebrow feature at the 12th floor, Kalkreuth installed 3,000 square feet of East Coast Metal Systems Inc.’s EC-200 CC Series 0.08-inch-thick aluminum plate column covers with a two-coat mica Silversmith coating.

At the roofs on a canopy walkway over a pool deck and connection bridge to the mixed-use building, Kalkreuth installed 2,000 square feet of CENTRIA’s 24-gauge SDP 175 structural standing seam roof system with a two-coat mica Silversmith coating.
