Construction on the medical and dental facility began in July 2007 and was completed in November 2008. The project features Metallic Building Co.’s Ultra-Dek roof and PBR panels for the endwalls and sidewalls. The exterior walls are framed with 8-inch (203-mnm) light-gauge studs to allow for the minimum 8-inch fiberglass insulation, with an additional 2 inches (51 mm) of rigid insulation at the masonry exteriors. The project also features a high-efficiency HVAC and electrical system, R-30 roof insulation and low-volume plumbing fixtures.
