Dcb Construction Co. Inc., the design-builder for Earth Treks Climbing Centers’ Golden Climbing Center, designed the facility with a clear height of more than 48 feet. Metallic Building Co. supplied a metal building system for the 28,969-square-foot project, completed in February 2014. Its footprint is 20,279 square feet and the mezzanine is 8,690 square feet.
Metallic Building supplied its Double Lok Standing Seam roof panels and reverse roll purlin bearing rib (PBR) vertical wall panels for the recreation center. Additionally, McElroy Metal supplied its Wave 16 horizontal metal wall panels, and Bay Insulation Systems Inc. supplied R-30 insulation for the roof and R-19 insulation for the walls. The building features a roof-mounted solar array.
