In efforts by Henrico County, Virginia, to expand recreation offerings, the Frank J. Thornton YMCA Aquatic Center was constructed to serve the community.
To provide a fade-resistant building exterior that required minimal maintenance, metal cladding and masonry were used. For the metal panels on the 20,920-square-foot recreation facility, WH Stovall and Co. Inc. installed 8,000 square feet of Morin Corp.’s 24-gauge F-12-0 concealed fastener metal wall panels in two-coat Kynar Bone White.
