Kingspan Insulated Panels Inc.’s Micro-Rib insulated metal panels in Imperial White and Charcoal were specified for Hamilton Tiger-Cats’ Tim Hortons Field to meet schedule and sustainability project goals. The single-component wall system acts as a vapor barrier, and provides airtightness and low thermal bridging. The panel system created an R-value of 7.2 per inch.
Hamilton Tiger-Cats Football Club’s $145.7 million project is certified LEED Silver. Originally the Ivory Wynne Stadium, Tim Hortons Field accommodates 22,500 spectators and was completed in time to host the 2015 Pan Am Games.
