Haven Hospice, Orange Park, Fla.

The hospice features 42,000 square feet of 24-gauge, 16-inch-wide steel Snap-Clad roof panels and 5,000 square feet of unpainted Galvalume Plus flat stock from Petersen Aluminum Corp. Unlike many hospice environments modeled after a typical skilled nursing wing with an extra lounge space for family use, the main care center at Haven Hospice is divided into two distinct nine-bed neighborhoods organized around residential-scaled living rooms for family use. Carefully sited with a group of mature live oaks, the unique structure creates a carefully crafted and peaceful environment.
