Killeen Police HeadquartersThe new 80,000-square-foot, three-story facility allows the various department divisions to be housed according to function and need. The $27 million complex replaces an outdated headquarters one-third the size of the new state-of-the-art facility, which includes a larger jail, private entrances for officers with inmates, an underground emergency operations center, crime lab, exercise facility and space for future expansion to include a heliport. For the project, Petersen Aluminum Corp. supplied 78,000 square feet of its Snap-Clad and Flush panels in Silver and Zinc.
