Johnson Early Architects designed two connected barn-shaped buildings, one black and one white, for Lexington Clinic South Broadway in Lexington, Ky. The buildings are both designed for longevity and wrapped in metal. Rainscreen portions of the walls dry out by convection. On both buildings, Burnett Roofing installed IMETCO’s IntelliScreen rainscreen systems.
The rainscreens have Merchant and Evans Inc.’s 18-inch wide B1515R 0.04-inch-thick aluminum batten panels in Sherwin-Williams Coil Coatings’ Fluropon coating in Solar White IMETCO’s Latitude metal wall panels in Sherwin-Williams Coil Coatings’ Fluropon coating in Matte Black.
Burnett Roofing installed the rainscreens with IMETCO’s self-adhered IntelliWrap water-resistive barriers, IntelliFrame vented hats and ROXUL Inc.’s 2-inch-thick Rockwool stone wool insulation.
On roofs and walls, Burnett Roofing Inc. installed IMETCO’s 24-gauge galvanized steel Series 300 panels in Sherwin-Williams Coil Coatings’ Fluropon coating in Solar White and Matte Black.
On one side of the white building and for a window box on the white building, Burnett Roofing installed 10,000 square feet of IMETCO’s 0.04-inch-thick aluminum Latitude wall panels in Sherwin-Williams Coil Coatings’ Fluropon coating in Charcoal.
At entrances on the exteriors and interiors, Latitude ceiling panels with a wood grain finish create warm spaces in common areas. K&B Drywall LLC installed 9,600 square feet of IMETCO’s 0.05-inch-thick aluminum Latitude ceiling panels with Sherwin-Williams Coil Coatings’ Fluropon coating in Honey Walnut Wood Grain. IMETCO supplied a custom framing system for interior ceiling panels.
