A metal ceiling system met project goals at the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum and Annie Oakley Society Event Center. The project included a 100,000-square-foot outdoor educational expansion and the Annie Oakley Society Event Center. The outdoor exhibit area is called Liichokoshkomo´, pronounced Lee-cho-koshko-MO. It is named for a Chickasaw phrase for “Let’s play.”

A metal ceiling supported acoustic and design goals. In terms of acoustics, Rockfon’s Planar Macroplus linear metal ceiling system has perforations and an Acoutex backer.

Regarding design, the ceiling’s Metalwood Walnut woodgrain finish visually connects the event center’s interior with outdoor exhibits and landscape.
