Array Architects specified a large skylight for Penn Family Medicine Southern Chester County in West Grove, Pa. The skylight’s glass area spans 1,016 square feet with a 14- foot, 4-inch vertical. Alderfer Glass Co. installed Super Sky Products Enterprises LLC’s 23- by 23-foot pyramid skylight at the health care facility. Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope supplied its insulated, low-E glass for the skylight and Linetec finished its aluminum framing in a Silver Sunstorm color mica coating.
Tammy Schroeder is LEED Green Associate and senior marketing specialist at Linetec. “Linetec’s Silver Sunstorm has a similar appearance to clear anodize, which matches the other finishes throughout the medical facility,” Schroeder says.
The $28 million, 72,000-square-foot outpatient facility is on a 45-acre site. Penn Family Medicine Southern Chester County provides primary care, physical therapy, radiology and laboratory services. The project was completed in June 2015.
