Three buildings were combined to construct SRC Medical Inc.’s medical plastic injection molding manufacturing facility. The 45,000-square-foot building has a single-story warehouse with a two-story mezzanine, which houses offices, conference rooms and kitchen space. It was built with two pre-engineered metal buildings for the warehouse portion and conventional framing for the office portion.
Features include curtainwall at the lobby, three-bay loading dock with hydraulic dock levelers, energy-efficient lighting and occupancy sensors throughout the warehouse, a 2000-amp electrical service and transformer and Thyssen Krupp hydraulic elevator.
BARNES buildings & management group inc. erected Metallic Building Systems’ multi-span, single- and doubleslope metal building systems with tapered columns.
BARNES installed Metl-Span’s 3-inchthick CF42 Light Mesa insulated metal panels (IMPs) in Galvalume and Silvercote LLC’s R-30 Purlin Glide FP leading edge fall prevention (over the purlin) roof system in Pewter.
