Vessel Architecture and Design Inc. created a contemporary design with brightly colored metal panels for The Gathering Church. Cassandra Wallace, architect at Vessel, says, “Orange is definitely their major branding color and we wanted to incorporate, that somehow with a balance of other colors that were dynamic and went well with the orange.”

Kevin Gates, project at Vessel, says, “Internally they were always that forward-thinking church, so the metal cladding and the contemporary new church is a reflection of what the church always was.”

On the 26,000-square-foot church, Blakely Sheet Metal LLC installed Kingspan Insulated Panels Inc.’s BENCHMARK Designwall 2000 metal wall panels in Sherwin-Williams Coil Coatings’ custom Carnival Orange, Kingspan’s Sandstone, Taupestone and Zinc Gray. Inside, there are a lobby, sanctuary and classrooms.
