Rigid Global Buildings conducted its annual winter golf tournament Friday, December 16, 2011 at the Gleannloch Farms Golf Course in Spring, Texas. 60 people supported Rigid’s charity for 2011 Homes for Our Troops. With proceeds from sponsorships and mulligan sales, Rigid was able to raise $3,000 for the Houston area Home for Our Troops.
According to Steve Olson, Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing “we felt Homes for Our Troops was a great match because it brought together two very important aspects of what Rigid stands for – construction and giving back to the community. It was a great way to get our vendors and customers involved in helping make a difference”.
Rigid is honored to present Homes for Our Troops with a check for $3,000 which will help them in the local Houston market purchase items needed to build their next home for a wounded veteran. Rigid has decided to continue their support for Homes of Our Troops for 2012 making it their official charity for a second year in a row.
