Charlotte, N.C.-based Charlotte Pipe and Foundry Co.’s cast iron pipe and fittings have received confirmation from ICC-ES that its cast iron products comply with the provisions of the ICC-ES SAVE (Sustainable Attributes Verification and Evaluation) Guideline for Determination of Recycled Content of Materials. As such, Charlotte Pipe received a Verification of Attributes Report (VAR#1021) providing building officials, architects, contractors, specifiers, designers and others who rely on third-party verification evidence that Charlotte Pipe cast iron soil pipe and fittings comply with specific green requirements.
