ZweigWhite and Deltek, Fayetteville, Ariz., announced the establishment of the A/E Firm Philanthropy Award to recognize the charitable contributions of architecture, engineering and environmental consulting firms. The award will be presented at The Zweig Letter 2010 Hot Firm Conference and Celebration, which will take place from Oct. 27-29 at the Gaylord National Harbor Resort in Washington, DC. ZweigWhite Founder and CEO Mark Zweig said the award was created to honor the efforts of architecture, engineering, and environmental consulting firms to make a difference in their communities. Some of these efforts include establishing their own non-profit foundations and supporting local charities through volunteerism, mentoring, fundraising and cash donations.
