The National Roofing Contractors Association has released “Guidelines for Roof-mounted Photovoltaic System Installations,” the roofing industry’s first document addressing photovoltaic roof systems. The 25-page technical resource provides best-practice guidelines for low- and steep-slope roof systems involving adhered or rack-mounted PV system installation. It includes four sections complemented by figures displaying proper photovoltaic installation, helpful references and a topic-specific glossary. The publication is $55 for NRCA members and $110 for nonmembers. For more information or to order a copy of the publication, visit shop.nrca.net or contact NRCA’s Customer Service Department at (866) ASK-NRCA (275-6722) or info@nrca.net.
