Coated Metals Group (CMG), based in Verona, Wis., hired Matt Johannsen as director of strategic expansion. In a statement, the company says, in the role, Johannsen will spearhead CMG’s increased efforts to identify and establish new locations in strategic geographic markets for manufacturing and distribution facilities and coordinate the operational steps to open new brick-and-mortar sites.
Johannsen has experience in the construction industry and hospitality industry.
“We are excited to have [Johannsen] join our team,” says Gary Woodward, president at CMG. “His newly created role will help us explore new cities for expansion and open additional locations at a quicker rate. His involvement has already jump started opening our 10th facility.”
Johannsen will focus on identifying and analyzing potential markets, developing strategic plans for new locations, and overseeing the implementation of plans to ensure successful market entry and growth.
