Triangle Fastener Corporation (TFC) has acquired DB Building Fasteners (DB), effective August 8, 2025.
Founded in 1997 and with approximately 25 employees across two locations, DB generated $11.5 million in sales in 2024.
According to a media release, this acquisition represents a significant step in TFC’s strategic growth plan, expanding its presence in the western United States and enhancing its proprietary TFC-branded product portfolio. Alongside our recent acquisition of Pro Fastening Fasteners in November 2024, this brings the company’s footprint to 32 U.S. locations, three distribution centers, and nine paint facilities dedicated to finishing fasteners.
Since its founding in 1977 in Pittsburgh, TFC has grown from a single location into a national brand, serving the roofing, metal building, drywall, and acoustical trades.
TFC is a member of the SFS Group. Headquartered in Heerbrugg, Switzerland, SFS is a global leader in precision components, mechanical fastening Fasteners, quality tools, and logistics solutions. Operating in 140 locations across 35 countries, SFS Group’s
approximately 13,500 employees achieved $3 billion in global sales.
