Central States Inc. has named Melissa Dunson vice president of sales and marketing for the company’s manufacturing business.
In her new role, she will lead the sales organization while continuing to provide leadership over the marketing and sales enablement functions of the business.
“Melissa has consistently demonstrated a deep commitment to our customers, our employee-owners, and our growth strategy,” said CEO Kurt Weaver. “Her ability to connect customer needs with business solutions, build strong teams, and drive collaboration across the organization makes her the ideal leader to guide our sales organization into the future.”
Dunson has over 15 years of experience in building products, having worked with sales, operations, product management, customer experience, and marketing teams.
“I am honored to step into this new role and continue serving our customers and employee-owners,” said Dunson. “I look forward to working alongside our sales teams to continue delivering value and creating new opportunities for our customers.”
Central States serves customers through three operating business units: metal roofing, siding, walls, doors, and other components; material-only metal building packages, including self-storage and PEMB; and mid-rise, multi-story construction.
