Rocky Mountain Snow Guards Inc. and S-5! have announced the four project winners in the 2026 Show us our snow guards contest.
“The winning projects demonstrate how thoughtfully designed and engineered snow retention systems can deliver reliable performance across a wide range of metal roofing applications,” said S-5! director of marketing Jessica Haddock.

White Castle Roofing • The company’s project in Mountain Village, Colo., was recognized for its use of ColorGard 2.0 snow retention on a log cabin’s standing seam metal roof.
“We’re especially excited that White Castle moved up from a runner-up finish in our 2025 contest to sweep the residential categories in this year’s competition,” said Brian Cross, sales and operations partner with Rocky Mountain. “Their beautiful work speaks for itself.”
Bulldog Roofing • The Colorado roofing company installed Drift Solar Snow Fence on The Ascent at Hover Crossing apartment complex below solar panels.
“This showpiece application of Drift Solar Snow Fences shows how important it is to install snow retention systems wherever solar panels are located,” Cross said. “In this situation, the snow fences help keep hundreds of residents safe from avalanching snow.”
On Point Contracting • the contractor installed an expansive, multi-tiered ColorGard 2.0 snow retention system on the new steel standing seam roof of a historic brick warehouse building in Littleton, Colo.’s downtown area.
“The On Point Contracting project demonstrates [ColorGard 2.0’s] strength on a large commercial roof, where long, uninterrupted runs called for a durable, streamlined snow retention solution,” said Haddock.
Projects were judged on the use of products in each category, the quality of photography supplied with entries, the skill displayed in the installation of the products, and the completeness of the entry submission. Each winning company will receive a cash prize of $1,500.
