Leonardo Romanese Architect Inc. designed a twotoned exterior with insulated metal panels (IMPs) for Bluebird Self Storage.
Leonardo Romanese, AAA, MAA, OAA, of Leonardo Romanese, says, “The number one reason we use insulated metal panels is the ease of construction. The second reason is that you get an excellent R-value.”
The three-story, 144,000-square-foot self storage facility is located in the Woodbridge suburban community. The two-toned design has drawn interest and praise, Romanese says. “It’s become quite the showcase. I get a lot of calls, and people really like the combination of colors we chose.”
To complete the project, Pendergast Sales Ltd. installed 21,681 square feet of Kingspan Insulated Panels Inc.’s KS Micro-Rib insulated metal panels (IMPs) in Dove Grey and Weathered Zinc. Additionally, Pendergast installed 7,159 square feet of Kingspan’s KS Microfiber Micro-Rib panels in Dove Grey.
