In Pfluger Associates LP’s design for the Career and Technical Education Innovation Space building at Del Valle High School, the firm specified bright red wall and roof panels, contrasting with white and light gray wall panels. The colors are concentrated in some locations and intermixed in others. Overall, the multicolored panels create a mosaic-style appearance on the building. The red wall panels are oriented vertically, and most of the white and light gray panels are horizontal.
On walls, Texas Roofing Co. installed 40,300 square feet of Petersen Aluminum Corp.’s 22-gauge steel PAC-CLAD Precision Series Highline S-1 wall panels in three red colors, white and light gray. The panels are coated in Sherwin-Williams Coil Coatings’ Kynar Fluropon Cardinal Red, custom Tor Red, custom Ron Red, Bone White and Cityscape.
On the roof, Texas Roofing installed 3,500 square feet of Petersen’s 24-gauge steel Tite-Loc Plus roof panels coated in Kynar Fluropon Cardinal Red.
