This new 36,500-square-foot (3,391-m2) elementary school features a metal roof from WeatherGuard Roofing Co. Completed in fall 2008, the school building is located adjacent to Krank Park and includes 15 classrooms, three special-education rooms, administrative offices, media center, cafeteria and gymnasium. Located on 12 acres (5 hectares) of land, the building was designed to complement the topography and architecture of the surrounding neighborhood.
Architectural Sheetmetal Products Inc. supplied 2,700 square feet
(251 m2) of 16-inch- (406-mm-) wide SBLC100, which was custom double curved, in a Brilliance Red SpectraLume Kynar 500 finish. ASP fabricated the roof panels and curved batten covers on-site. Weather- Guard supplied custom radius curves, coping, fascia, flashing and drip edge.
