Konrad Wernthaler has been appointed president of Gaco and Enverge, two brands within the Amrize Building Envelope business.
“His comprehensive understanding of the construction materials sector and proven ability to transform product portfolios will be invaluable as we continue to scale the Gaco and Enverge brands to drive long-term value,” said Amrize Building Envelope president Jake Gosa.
Wernthaler has more than three decades of executive experience across the specialty chemicals and construction materials sectors, having held senior leadership roles that spanned R&D and marketing to operational excellence and general management.
He most recently served as CEO of Mallard Creek Polymers, a manufacturer of custom emulsion polymers.
Wernthaler will oversee the strategic direction, operational execution, and commercial growth of both business units, which serve a spectrum of commercial and residential markets across the roofing, waterproofing, sealants, adhesives, and insulation industries.
