Coated Metals Group, a manufacturer and distributor of pre-finished steel products for the architectural metal and roofing industries, announced the opening of its newest stocking and distribution facility in Omaha.
“The region continues to experience impressive residential and commercial growth, while remaining underserved from a dedicated architectural metal supply standpoint,” said director of strategic expansion Matt Johannsen. “Opening this facility allows us to better support existing customers, establish new partnerships, and continue investing in the long-term success of the metal roofing industry.”
As CMG’s 14th facility nationwide, the new location aims to reduce freight costs, shorten lead times, and provide contractors, manufacturers, and distributors with quicker access to the products they need.
CMG says the new location at 14607 Chandler Road in La Vista strengthens its national distribution network by creating a natural connection between its headquarters in Verona, Wis., manufacturing operations in Indianapolis and Denver, and customers throughout the Midwest and Great Plains.
Outside sales rep Jordan Jackson will lead sales efforts throughout the region, providing product expertise and project support to contractors, fabricators, distributors, and building professionals.
The Omaha facility will stock CMG’s portfolio of architectural metal products, including pre-finished coil and sheet, roofing accessories, and complementary products for the residential, commercial, and agricultural construction markets.
