AAMA Honorary Member Lyon D. Evans of Wausau, Wisc. passed away on December 8, at the age of 93.
Evans was born October 31, 1918, in New York, and was raised in Forest Hills, N.Y. He attended Stony Brook School and Colgate University, where he graduated in 1940 with a degree in architecture.
“[Evans] was inducted as an AAMA Honorary Member on May 2, 1989. His contributions to the association’s beginnings and dedication to its success can still be felt today. We are humbled by his foresight and steadfast allegiance to this industry. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his wife, June, and their family during this difficult time,” says AAMA President and CEO Rich Walker.
